Abstract
A summary of the resource.
La obra está conformada por cuatro ejes analíticos: I. Pinceladas sobre el origen y evolución de las relaciones Venezuela-China; II. Li Dijun y el frustrado Tratado de Amistad Venezuela-China; III. Venezuela y la admisión de China en la Organización de las Naciones Unidas; y IV. Inicio y discontinuidad del entendimiento comercial. Sumado a ello, contamos con un Epílogo de dimensiones dialécticas y correctivas en el ámbito de las relaciones entre China y Venezuela, nos referimos a los hechos y al tiempo histórico real transcurrido a partir del 13 de abril de 1943, hito histórico que marca el inicio y que nos permite dar cuenta de casi ocho décadas de relaciones (1943-2023). Finalmente, este trabajo cuenta con un Apéndice que enriquece el análisis expuesto al lector. Cuatro tablas nos presentan, por vez primera y de manera sistemática, a los diplomáticos venezolanos en China y los diplomáticos chinos en tierra venezolana. Así, también la incipiente actividad comercial.
